WhatsApp... Your invite will come today!

So today Terese is sending out the invite to join your exclusive "Provence WhatsApp Group". If you're already on WhatsApp, your invite will come to you through WhatsApp... If you're not already on WhatsApp, your invite will come via Text Message from Terese at 484-410-1481.

So another simple travel hack that we'll suggest to you, is to download "WhatsApp" onto your cell phone for use while you're in France.

WhatsApp ~ it's easy & it's free!

In Europe, everybody uses "WhatsApp"! It basically gives you free Texting and free Voice calls to anyone else who is on the WhatsApp platform... So while you're traveling with friends, and need to contact them, or you want to call or text from France back to the US, if you're calling someone else on the WhatsApp platform, it's free... It works great for having a Tour Group Text String while traveling abroad and we'll definitely create one for your group so that we can all easily connect with each other, and we can easily stay in contact with you!

We will use WhatsApp as our "primary" group communication tool while we are in France. Today, you. will receive a text from Terese, (our VP of La Dolce Vita) with an invitation to join our exclusive Adventures To Provence WhatsApp Group. (if you've already downloaded WhatsApp, you'll receive the invitation from What'sApp). If you haven't downloaded WhatsApp, your invitation will come via a Text Message.

The important thing to understand about WhatsApp and similar platforms is that you still need an internet connection for it to be totally free... So if you're at The Villa, you'll have free unlimited wifi... But say you're in your car, and you use WhatsApp, you'll connect to the internet thru your cellular data plan...

If ya know, ya know... If you don't, were gonna send you to a site where you can learn all about it in just 3 minutes... Don't worry about all the advanced stuff this site will mention.

RATATOUILLE ~ Ratatouille is a typical Provençal food that originated in The South of France. This vegetable medley features eggplant (aubergine), zucchini (courgette), bell peppers (poivrons), onions (oignons), and tomatoes (tomates) cooked together in a savory sauce made with olive oil and herbs such as thyme and rosemary.

Blanquette de Veau ~ A creamy veal stew made with lots of butter, cream, and carrots. Traditionally the stew is thickened with a roux. And typically it is served with rice. A favorite of the French
Tartiflette ~ This iconic French menu item is a luxurious potato dish made with melted Reblochon cheese, lardons and onion.. often shared as an appetizer
Coquilles Saint-Jacques ~ Gratinéed scallops: This luxurious scallop dish is made by poaching them in white wine, topped with mushroom purée, covered with a sauce made of the scallop poaching liquid. Quite often they’ll be topped with breadcrumbs and Gruyere before being flashed under a hot grill
